Our Story at the Stone Village
The Stone Village has been a mainstay in hospitality in Ft. Davis for 68 years.
Jim & Mary Jenkins were traveling on vacation 5 years ago.
Enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Davis Mountains,
they inquired about real estate available in the area...
Turns out the motel they were staying in was on the market!
Three days later, papers had been signed and they were the new owners of
their own permanent vacation spot.
The temperate high-desert climate of Ft. Davis is a real blessing
in comparison to the hotter parts of Texas!
Being so captivated by the surrounding mountain vistas,
Jim & Mary wanted to enjoy the area with family & friends.
So, even though both were retired, they now operate this mountain retreat
